There are lots of championships and carnivals coming up over the coming couple of months.
Our championships and carnivals section has been updated with all the relevant information.
Events include
Centre Championships – 31 January
Littles State Qualifier – 6-7 February
Region 7 Scamper – 13 February
Garth Robinson – 14 February
Littles State Championships – 20-21 March
Juniors State Championships – 27-28 March
Pleased to announce that we will return to competition tomorrow night. Week B program starting at 6pm.
Importantly if you have been to any of the venues listed on the NSW Health website as case locations please follow the appropriate guidelines and not attend competition or training.
As some venues listed in our local area have yet to see 14 days pass since a confirmed COVID case visited it is even more important that we ensure COVID safe practices are adhered to at our centre.
This Friday we are encouraging age managers and parent helpers to wear face masks when in close contact with each other and athletes (athletes will not be required to wear face masks)
The canteen and BBQ will be closed (hopefully just for this week) to reduce the areas where people congregate at the end of the night.
With limited attendance and many age managers/committee members still on holidays we ask that parents attending help where possible – if you could arrive at the ground early to help with setup at 5pm that would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to seeing you all back at CV Kelly tomorrow night – although if you are unwell please stay at home.
Happy New Year
We were hoping to have better news to start 2021 but with the recent COVID-19 outbreak extending to parts of the local area we have decided to delay the return of competition after the xmas break.
Tomorrow night’s competition – Friday 8 January has been cancelled in addition next week’s return to training has been delayed.
It is not worth risking the health of our athletes and parents with the recent listing of 10 venues in the Pendle Hill and Wentworthville area that a confirmed COVID case visited.
The committee will continue to monitor information provided by the NSW government – hopefully today’s great news of zero new community transmissions continues and nothing comes from the new venues so close to home.
Our hope is that with good news we can return to competition and training from Friday 15 January – we will keep you posted.
Wishing all our members a very merry christmas and a happy new year.
We return to competition on Friday 8 January
